String Heaven,
I have been using the D`Addario electric guitar strings for over 25 years and have to admit i havnt come across a better brand anywhere. Nickel wound .010-.012,s are the ones i use the most and the tone i get from these are second to none. From rock to blues or heavy metal these strings are so versatile its unbelievable. The only negative point is in my last order of 3 packs, 1 pack was short of a high e string. Great service though with my order arriving at my door only 2 working days later. Many Thanks Amazon.

|colour coding,
Just put these on my guitar and they sound good to me.
Although I greatly applaud D’addario’s stripping down of excess packaging these strings are colour coded ( silver for E, Purple for B etc) which is fine for me but I wonder if someone who is colour blind or has a problem with their eyesight they may have a problem working out which string is which. I sure D’addario have thought about this but I thought I’d mention it for colour blind guitarists. Cheers
